This was the second part in a two part solo exhibition in the Wilma Daniels Gallery at Cape Fear Community College. At the mid-point of the exhibition, the pieces were removed and the arrangement shifted.
In the second phase over 450 sculptural pieces from the Curiosities Series were hung in a grid in chronological order. This arrangement showed the pieces as they were initially envisioned, as if they were scienetific objects to be studied. The span of the long gallery walls was perfect to show the collection and view the pieces in the order in which they were created. Each piece is marked with a tag that indicates, its number in the on-going series. The tags are practical means to catalogue the works but the idea was developed to also suggest the connection to the way humans number, order and catalogue nature.
